| We got to do some exploring on this trip, and here are some pics of some of the 'slot canyons'. You can take the boat pretty far back in some as you can see on the left, and you can hike or climb even further as you can see on the right. That's Dianne in the crevice as I jumped off into the water. |

We took the ski boat all the way to Paige AZ, which is over a hundred miles, and played golf in the desert heat. We explored some indian ruins and hiked up some of the canyon walls. Here is a pic of myself pretty far up a wall using manmade footholds. Going up is a litte tricky, but coming down is much worse. There is always time at night for some interesting games such as 'spank me - three man'. Here is a pic of someone getting spanked properly! |

| I took a motorcycle trip around colorado, and came back with more places to go visit that I didn't even know about. I went to Pikes Peak and 'North Pole' Colorado where there is an amusement park called 'Santas Workshop'. Then rode down to the Royal Gorge and the World's highest suspension bridge. It is a spectacular site, and you can see the rafts below almost 2000 ft down. We rafted that section of the Arkansas river last year. I stopped in Gunnison and got up early the next morning to ride past Blue Mesa Lake and cross the Gunnison river several times. Highway 92 that follows the north rim of the Black Canyon is one of the most beatiful rides anywhere. The first two pics are overlooking the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. After traveling through central Colorado I camped near Aspen at the often photographed 'Maroon Bells'. The third pic is of myself and the 'Bells' taken from Crystal Lake which is only accessable on foot. |

| Earlier in the month I took a short ride north near Rocky Mountaion National Forrest. The pic above was taken at Nederland, where a mountain lake looms in the foreground and the thawed ski slopes of Eldora ski resort tower over the landscape. The second pic is a typical sunset on Lake Powell. |
